Does anyone know how to make my pics in my siggy smaller...I was trying to play around with it before but they're still HUGE!!!...I just want them a little smaller so they dont take up soo much room.....THANKS!!!

Shrink them in some photo editing software. It doesn't matter the program, paint will do just fine (use stretch/skew with less than 100% in the variables for stretch). Photobucket will also shrink them to predetermined sizes using the edit command.

Choose a different picture? Just make sure it's 80x80 at the most.

Apparently, my edit about paint didn't come through. I do have instructions for this on the first post. Read them and if you still have questions. I'll clarify.

I just downloaded Kreste's ballroom blitz for the heck of it and music plays but I can't get video in either Windows Media Player or Realplayer. In Media Player I get a codec message. File is shown as AVI Video. Media Player is set for automatic updates and Realplayer says there are no updates available. What do I do?

You probably need a divx codec. It can be found at www.divx.com. Another good site is www.cccp-project.net. It's one codec that will install pretty much anything you need. It runs on media player classic, which will also be installed.

Thanks, Katie. I don't think I'll wrestle with it tonight. I'll let you know what happens when I get up courage to try.

Computer has been very peaceful these days without memory error messages after almost 2 hours on phone w/tech about 2 months ago, so I am very skittish. Tech told me not to install software updates as they are available as compatibility problems can develop. None of my videos would play and tech had to reinstall some type of memory file and said if that didn't work they'd have to send me a new hard drive. Very scary.

Two questions:
I don't have photoshop or similar programs on my comp and photobucket doesn't make avatars small enough for the forum. Is there another way to get the pic smaller?

Also,

Someone on another forum made me a signature with a blend of pics and words, I have the whole thing copied to my photobucket and I have put it in my sig on the profile, but it doesn't show up?
