New York Magazine statement

Just finished my weekly read of New York magazine and on the last page is "the Approval Matrix". A weely part of the mag & it is wonderful. But, here is the best part....Read on:

"Why was Dancing With the Stars winner Nicole Scherzinger--famous for being in a group of rauncy dancers-even eligible for the show in the first place?"

And,it is under the "Despicable" section!!! I am just saying........Check it out!!!

It's good to learn that others find the "professional dancer" issue on DWTS to be irritating as well. It really takes the whole momentum out of the supposed contest, doesn't it?

For my own tastes, I am bored by those who cannot dance at all and never could even with training, as well as by those who dance for a living. But the audacity of the producers to so obviously gear the show toward Ms. Shesaringer's win was truly nauseating. They found yet another way to ruin the show, me fears.

To a segment of the viewing audience, I think Nicole's diva-like personality (I'm an artist, I'm not like other people." ) plus the blatant "fix" of the results will NOT help her greatly in her career, as she must have hoped it would.

I'm even surprised at the spread of negativity toward Derek as a result of this win. American's don't like a "fixed race" I think.

^You can't gp by comments on Perez Hilton's site. No one has anything good to say about anyone. His traffic would flame Maks too. The point is she has work after DWTS that she might not have gotten without the show.
